LASER DECORATION

In the field of the most innovative decoration techniques with an high technical/ aesthetic impact, our company has introduced laser engraving since 2013. This technique allows to obtain logos, graphics and writings with engravings of high characteristics of precision and indelibility.
OXIDALDECO decorates glass, painted or metalized, particularly for the cosmetic sector.
We also engrave metals: painted aluminum (pots and housewares), steel (pot’s handles and knife’s blades) and anodized aluminum (components of underwater sports items/ diving)

HOT FOIL STAMPING

OXIDALDECO introduced hot foil stamping dedicating itself particularly to more complex decorations such as glass bottles for the cosmetic sector and for high perfumery. Our processes, carried out even on limited quantities, allow us to ennoble our customers’ products with extremely precious and attractive aesthetic finishes: mirror polished in various colors, crosslight, reflex select, laser seamless, etc.
The proper use of inks guarantees the adhesion of the foil to the bottle and the consequent resistance to perfume.

SPRAY PAINTING

The painting of articles in various materials was added to the work carried out internally already in the 90s. In particular we have developed the experience in decorating plastic, anodized aluminum and glass items.
Requests from our customers operating in multiple sectors (teleccomunications, underwater sports, cosmetics, air conditioning, etc.) allowed us to depeen our knowledge in several finishes: glossy, opaque, embossed, degraded, with the use of solvent and water paints.

SCREEN/PAD PRINTING

For over 50 years OXIDALDECO uses “classic” screen printing on every type of surface, shape and material. The type of printing is particularly appreciated for its ability to confer “relief” to the decoration.
The pad printing introduced in our production processes during the 80s, it allows to reproduce writings and decorations both on flat and concave surfaces, convex and irregular.

3D SUBLIMATION

Using one of the most recent and innovative decoration techniques, it is now able to satisfy the most demanding requests coming from the market.
Our company has concentrated its efforts on the sublimation of three-dimensional objects, such as: glass bottles and thermosetting plastic caps, handles and pot handles, plastic and metal components for the fashion industry and aluminum components for articles in the underwater/diving sector.
The most appreciated feature of this technique is that of being able to transfer an image or any graphic to the fullness of their chromatic ranges.
From a digitally printed film, the image is transferred to the object that has to be decorated with functional aesthetic qualities and high adhesion characteristics, indelebility and resistance to UV rays.

DIGITAL PRINTING

Over the last few years, digital printing machines running on three-dimensional objects have seen significant and continuous improvements in terms of producitivity, functional and aesthetic characteristics of the decorated artefact.
The fields of application have progressively expanded to more complex materials and shapes: glass bottles and plastic caps for the cosmetic sector, panels, components and objects both for the various industrial sectors and for the sports and leisure sectors.
Today it’s possible to assess whether direct digital printing is cost-effective compared to the classic alternative mechanical analogical techniques.
The use of suitable primers and correct inks guarantees high aesthetic and functional standards.
The possibility of avoiding the installation of important graphic equipment (necessary in screen printing, especially in multi-color printing), it allows to develop ambitious aesthetic projects with relatively contained economic investments even in the context of quantitatively limited production series.

ALUMINUM ANODIZING

The anodic oxidation treatment of aluminum protects the aluminum object from natural oxidation preserving its original aesthetic appearance.
Through this galvanic-type process, surface hardening is obtained (measured in microns of thickness) and corrosion by external agents is avoided.
The “Natural” anodizing, which we could identify as a “basic” treatment, is particularly suitable for those products with the main functional value and not purely aesthetic.

The electro-brightening allows to obtain shny (BRILL) or semi-gloss surfaces and, after mechanical polishing, “mirror” surfaces (reflective caps). It is made in combination with anodic oxidation.
The latter is particularly appreciated in the lighting sector, in the cosmetics sector and in the furniture sector (handles and kitchen panels).
In lighting lamps it’s indeed very important that the internal reflector of the lamp is as smooth and shiny as possible, so that the light rays can be reflected with the minimum of dispersion.

This treatment gives the surface of the object in aluminum a matt finish.
The chemical satin finish allows to reduce and often to eliminate the surface marks resulting from the mechanical processing of the tool or the drawing equipment.

This type of finish is the combination of satin finish with the electro-brightening one.
It is reserved for details with high aesthetic value and gives an immage and a surface structure called by many “silk effect” for its delicacy and particularity.

All objects processed with the treatments indicated above can also be colored in the whole range of organic pigments available on the market.
Our strenght is to be able to offer our customers some “combined” colors that meet the need for couplings with different material details or requests for colors such as “titanium” (underwater sector) or “aquamarine” (cosmetic sector).

P.M. MOLDING

The thermoplastic injection molding department now has 8 presses, from 35 to 350 tons.
The polymers used are mainly PA6/PA66 polyamides (glass fiber/ glass sphere) used for molding technical articles in the IT and underwater sports sectors; ABS and SAN for the cosmetic sector, PP and PE for the household sector and the agricultural sector.
Plastic items, if required, can be decorated in our finishing department using the technique required if necessary: spray painting, screen printing (flat and rotationale), pad printing, ultrasonic welding, 2D/3D sublimation, hot foil stamping “lamina”, ecc.
The department is supported by an internal mechanical workshop for mold maintenance.
Consolidated external collaborations also allow us to support the customer during rapid prototyping.
Mechanical workshops in partnership guarantee the construction and delivery of numerous molds in the time required by customers.
Our company is now able to satisfy the most complex requests, starting from a phase of prototyping and product design, it reaches the actual industrialization and production.
Our department is able to support the welding of small and medium-sized parts. Our machines allow us to weld any type of metal insert.
